Prepress checklist
Use these steps to prepare files for production and reduce back-and-forth during proofing.
- Confirm final size, folds, and bleed requirements.
- Convert fonts to outlines or include fonts in the package.
- Embed images at proper resolution.
- Use CMYK color mode for print files.
- Include dielines and spot colors if required.
- Export a PDF with marks only if requested.
- Name files clearly and include version details.
